All classes are held at Kelson School Hall, Lower Hutt.
🥋 Kids Class (Ages 5–11) – Tuesday & Thursday 6:00pm
💪 Adults Class – Tuesday & Thursday 7:00pm
🔥 Teens Class – Wednesday 6:00pm

Yes, we do. We offer trial classes for just $5 per person. We ask that you contact us before attending so our coaching staff know you're coming and can a look out for you.

Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form or call—we’ll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way.

For your first class we recommend, long pants such as tracksuit pants, easy slip-on shoes, as all training is done barefoot on the mat, no Zips or Jewelry for safety, plus a water bottle.
Club Uniform is required for grading purposes.
We also train in gis, particularly during the winter months, although wearing a gi is optional throughout the year. If a gi is required for a specific class, your coach will let you know in advance.

We focus on practical martial arts and self-defence, not just sport. Our classes combine striking, takedowns, throws, grappling, pins, and submissions in a friendly, family-focused environment. With over 30 years of experience, we teach simple, effective techniques that work while helping students build confidence, fitness, discipline.

No. We understand that people are busy, so if you can make it 1 or 2 nights per week that’s fine as long as you let us know.
